As the title says but i have a fab little forum which is all live but could do with some extra members - you type in pregnant to parent and it comes up but i if i were someone who wanted too find a pregnancy, ttc, parenting forum - how do i get it too pop up in those search results. Google is pretty open about how you can get the best results. http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/ has a lot of information but the best thing to do is sign up for webmaster tools. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/about.html and use them.
Google does like links to your site from reputable sources ';promote'; is good advice. You should have provided us with your link. Some people spam here by providing a useless link and no answer. Unfortunately the Googlebot can't tell the difference!
